Welcome, SCCC was founded in 1927 in an effort to promote and educate Collie enthusiasts in Southern California. The club currently sponsors two confirmation shows each year, a weekend agility show, and enjoys an active membership. Club meetings are scheduled on the first Friday of each month, and are generally held at our members' homes on a revolving basis.

Electra earned her TDX February 5 at the Golden Retriever Club of San Diego County. She finished her 825 yard track in 15 minutes. The test was held at the Hollenbeck Wildlife Preserve in Jamul, California. The judges were Sally Nesbitt and Carol Ruthenburg.

Travis earned his TDX February 9 at the Agility Club of San Diego. He finished his track of 885 yard in 19 minutes. The test was held in San Diego near the Mexican border. The judges were Sally Nesbitt and Robin Gruenwald.

SCCC sponsored a canine dental educational

SCCC sponsored a canine dental educational August 18. Linda Stern, dental hygienist, was our speaker and had great picture, short lecture, and amazing demonstration. General dental care for our dog's teeth was discussed and demonstrated. After an open discussion and lunch, members rushed home to brush their dog's teeth!
